MAXSYSTEMS IS HONORED WITH TWO PRESTIGIOUS NATIONAL AWARDS FOR 2010

Orlando, FLA, March 26, 2010 – At the Electronic House Expo today, the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA®) announced that the High-End Los Angeles systems integrator, Maxsystems has won the 2010 Mark of Excellence Gold Award for ‘Custom Home of the Year’, presented by CEA’s TechHome Division. CEA’s Mark of Excellence Awards honored Maxsystems for outstanding achievement and innovation in trend setting custom home electronics technologies and system integration. Each year manufacturers, distributors and systems integrators enter to compete in award categories for this coveted honor. Award entries were reviewed by a panel of industry experts comprised of systems integrators, manufacturers, members of the trade press and industry consultants to determine both finalists and winners. The project for which Maxsystems won the Gold is a concrete/glass home mounted on pylons driven into bedrock on a wet sand Malibu beach. The structure presented numerous challenges within which to provide Audio, Video, security, central vac, lighting and touchpanel control systems. Maxsystems was recognized at the Mark of Excellence Awards Reception this evening during the eleventh annual Electronic House Expo(EHX) Spring 2010.

During another award ceremony here, “Electronic House” magazine announced that Maxsystems won the 2010 ‘Best Integrated Home of the Year’ Bronze Award. EH Publishing honored Maxsystems for the best whole-house installation in its category which includes home control as well as other electronics and systems. This is a prestigious award which attracts the top systems integrators from around the nation. Award entries were reviewed by a team of judges comprised of industry consultants, systems integrators, manufacturers and members of the trade press to determine finalists and winners. The project for which Maxsystems won the Bronze is a challenging, widespread, multi-level home on expansive grounds which required design, installation and integration of motorized shades, robust lighting, pool/spa, advanced distributed music/video, climate, access, and camera-security systems. Intricate switching and system interoperability were designed and executed to provide simple yet sophisticated operation of distributed multi-room, multi-source audio and video systems as well as intricate lighting and shade control.

MAXSYSTEMS AMONG ELITE HOME TECH DEALERS TO REPRESENT TRUFIG FLUSH-MOUNTING SYSTEM IN LOS ANGELES

TRUFIG seamlessly integrates dissimilar wall devices into architecture…enhances aesthetics, elegance and simplicity in beautiful environments.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 1, 2010 -- Maxsystems, Inc, a premier provider of Home Technologies for the luxury residential market, is honored to be included by TRUFIG on an exclusive list of top-tier systems integrators. TRUFIG is a ground-breaking platform that allows AC wall outlets, Lutron lighting keypads, Crestron touchpanels, phone/data jacks, music volume controls, speakers and more to be completely inset into walls, presenting a completely flush appearance. Disparate wall devices from numerous manufacturers can now be fully integrated into a uniform appearance, allowing consistent color and design for walls and ceilings.
TRUFIG, a sister company of Sonance, was launched as a logical outgrowth of Sonance’s development of their flushmount Architectural series speakers. TRUFIG completes the concept of Home Technologies existing discretely within architectural and design sensitive environments.
Says Jason Sloan, Vice president of Sales at TRUFIG. “TRUFIG represents a truly revolutionary design alternative to architectural compromises. By offering clients the ability to install traditional light switches, power outlets, keypads, and touchscreens seamlessly into the wall, TRUFIG provides minimizes the impact of technology and allows the design professional to recognize their vision for the refined space. We are pleased to add Maxsystems to an exclusive list of companies that sell and support TRUFIG throughout North America.”
Says Myles Koplow, CEO of Maxsystems, “We are thrilled at the enthusiastic responses we are receiving from those high-profile designers, architects, builders and electrical designers to whom we show the TRUFIG platform. This has always been a missing element to integrating technology into beautiful environments and we are elated to be in the forefront.”
